Working at prestige dealerships including Lamborghini, Bentley and Jaguar in London and Australia, as well as local workshops in Hamilton, has given Dustin a huge breadth of automotive knowledge and expertise. Dustin and Co-Director Darren worked together for a number of years prior to helping start Ultimate Automotive in 2006, where Dustin’s biggest priorities include organising and managing the team, providing customers with great customer service and helping with mechanical work. Dustin started his career in the automotive industry when he was 14, working for his uncle during school holidays. Since then, he has achieved an A-Grade Automotive Mechanic qualification, and completed factory training with Ford, Jaguar and Land Rover. After moving from his original home of Te Kuiti, Dustin settled in Hamilton, where he lives with his partner and stepson. When he’s not at the workshop, you’ll find him renovating their home or off snowboarding during the winter months.
With over 24 years in the automotive industry, Darren is passionate about mechanical engineering and providing the best service and knowledge to his customers.
He takes particular care to ensure every vehicle leaving Ultimate Automotive is as safe and reliable as possible, and fully ready to be back onto the road after a top quality repair or service. Darren loves to keep up with the latest trends in automotive technology, and is always excited to learn about new changes and upgrades to different car models. As well as Darren’s wealth of experience he has also completed trade certificate and factory Ford training. Outside of motoring, Darren regularly spends time outdoors wakeboarding, fishing and camping with the family.
